General Class Information Frequently Asked Questions

Q). What is Parkour?

A). Parkour (also known as free-running) is the art of navigating difficult terrain with speed and agility. Athletes learn to conquer walls, vaults, gaps, and other challenges with great precision. From the simple speed vault to the challenging wall flip, each skill is broken down and taught safely and correctly by our highly trained staff.
Q). What is boys gymnastics?

A). An olympic standard for decades, boys gymnastics covers six events: high bar, parallel bars, still rings, pommel horse, vault, and floor exercise. This class is a GAR North favorite, as boys are taught exciting skills and develop strength, flexibility and coordination.
Q). How do we know if class is cancelled due to weather?

A). Cancellations that result from extreme weather will be announced on major radio and TV stations. If you are confused by what you see or hear on radio/ TV, please call our office. Although our staff may not be able to make it to the office, we will have a message on the answering machine to inform you of what we will be doing. You may also look on our Facebook page. Make-ups for cancellations due to extreme weather may be scheduled through the GAR office.
